$450K Awarded to Community Organizations
The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County awarded $455,550 in Community Grants to 24 community organizations during the second quarter of 2025. Classroom Connections of ECI received $11,000 to support their mission to provide essential classroom tools to teachers and students, ensuring teachers can teach and learners can learn. Robert P. Bell Classroom Enhacement Grants
The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County awarded six schools with Robert P. Bell Classroom Enhancement Grants totaling more than $12K this school year. These grants are awarded to schools to enhance learning through innovative ideas, programs, or projects related to a classroom unit or lesson. Pleasant View Elementary School first-graders learned about the human body and celebrated “Doctor Day,” where students had the opportunity to dress up like a doctor, play Operation, listen to heartbeats with a real stethoscope and sort food based on food groups.
$1 Million Awarded to Community Organizations
The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County awarded $1,004,500 in Community Grants during the first quarter of 2025.
$3.77 Million Granted in 2024
The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County awarded $3,769,621 in grants and scholarships in 2024, strengthening its mission to enhance the quality of life for Delaware County residents. Most grants were awarded through permanently endowed funds, ensuring a greater Muncie and Delaware County today, tomorrow, and always.

Support for Albany
The Albany Fund, in memory of the Frazee Family, was established in 2022. The fund will support programs and projects that benefit residents in the town of Albany, Indiana.
Support for Selma
The Liberty Perry Selma Town Endowment Fund was established in 2012 to support programs and projects that benefit residents in Liberty Perry/Selma.
Support for Yorktown
The Town of Yorktown Endowment Fund was established in 2000 to support programs and projects that benefit residents in the town of Yorktown, Indiana.
2023 Annual Report: Sparking Change
Whitely Community Council serves and is a voice for the residents of the Whitely community on Muncie’s northeast side. In 2023, they received a grant to support core mission work and education initiatives.
