Robert P. Bell Classroom Enhacement Grants
The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County awarded six schools with Robert P. Bell Classroom Enhancement Grants totaling more than $12K this school year. These grants are awarded to schools to enhance learning through innovative ideas, programs, or projects related to a classroom unit or lesson. Pleasant View Elementary School first-graders learned about the human body and celebrated “Doctor Day,” where students had the opportunity to dress up like a doctor, play Operation, listen to heartbeats with a real stethoscope and sort food based on food groups.
