2026 Community Foundation Scholarship Awards
68 Scholars Received $281,400 in 2026 Scholarship Support from The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County
The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County awarded $281,400 to 68 Delaware County high school graduates and current college students during the 2026 scholarship season. Scholarships range from one-time $500 awards to four-year awards supporting persistence toward degree attainment.
MarQuis Allen
MarQuis Allen is the recipient of the Robert L. Thompson Scholarship. He is a graduate of Muncie Central High School. MarQuis plans to attend Wabash College to study Financial Economics. He is the son of Daphne Allen.
Finn Almandmoss
Finn Almandmoss is the recipient of the eKeeper Systems UnParalleled Excellence Scholarship. He is a graduate of Indiana Academy. Finn plans to attend Purdue University West Lafayette to study Chemical Engineering. He is the son of Kimberly Almandmoss and Nahshon Almandmoss.
Mackenzie Brannon
Mackenzie Brannon is the recipient of the Arthur D. and Josephine M. Robling Scholarship. She is a graduate of Wapahani High School. Mackenzie plans to attend Ball State University to study Radiology. She is the daughter of Kim Brannon and Chris Brannon.

Silas Carder is the recipient of the Robert and Wanda McKibben Scholarship. He is a graduate of Yorktown High School. Silas plans to attend The University of Notre Dame to study Neuroscience. He is the son of Liz Carder and Matt Carder.

Riley Carpenter is the recipient of the Rex A. Waldo II Scholarship. She is a graduate of Yorktown High School. Riley plans to attend University of Cincinnati to study Nursing. She is the daughter of Camie Carpenter and David Carpenter.
