2021-2022 Robert P. Bell Grants

Teachers Awarded $14k for Creative and Innovative Classroom Projects

Teachers from 13 local schools received 29 Robert P. Bell Education Grants this school year. More than $14,468 supported the learning of more than 2,300 young people. Since the program began in 1992, the Robert P. Bell Education Grants program has provided grants to teachers and counselors in Delaware County. In response to changing classroom needs and the cost of supplies, the board of directors of The Community Foundation supported a recommendation to award grants for up to $600. Teachers responded with enthusiasm. Today, the Robert P. Bell Education Grant program supports creative and innovative classroom projects with grants from $50 to $600.
