The Community Foundation and arts advocates from the community visited the Kindness Matters Mural in Madison, Ind. during a series of site visits around southern Indiana.

The first donors to The Community Foundation made gifts with a lasting impact. Today, an investment committee comprised of local volunteers sets goals and monitors the performance of investments.

In late 2023, The Foundation was given an opportunity to bring $2.25 million into our community. Neighbors embraced several options for giving as they stepped up to the challenge. The Foundation’s board members led the way.

Local teachers were awarded grants totaling over $9K from The Community Foundation through the Robert P. Bell Education Grants Program.
