About The Community Foundation

The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County is a 501(c)3 public charity serving Muncie and Delaware County, Ind. Its mission is to encourage philanthropy, assist donors in building an enduring source of charitable assets, and exercise leadership in directing resources to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Muncie and Delaware County. The Community Foundation was established in 1985. In 2025, the Foundation awarded more than $4 million in grants and scholarships from an asset pool of endowed funds totaling more than $100 million.

Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant supports the President & CEO and the Foundation's leadership team administratively and assists in creating engaging experiences for various audiences. As a member of the Operations team, the Executive Assistant administers and coordinates work to support important logistics that impact internal capacity and help to maintain the Foundation’s standards related to data and document management.

The Community Foundation Internship Program

Photo Management Intern

The Photo Management Intern will organize approximately 16,000 photos for curation and use in outreach projects. To accomplish this, the intern will research and recommend a photo management system, prepare existing photo files, and implement it. Additionally, the intern will create a user guide for the new system to ensure it continues to serve the Foundation's Outreach and Donor Relations Team.
