The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County, Inc. awarded an additional $6,000 to three nonprofit organizations to support emergency response and recovery efforts related to the COVID-19 crisis.

Community Foundation staff continue to connect with and listen to the plans, challenges, and needs of a variety of vital community organizations across Delaware County. Decisions for this seventh round of response funding were made to come alongside these vital community organizations with identified needs related to community recovery related to the Coronavirus Pandemic. This is the seventh round of response funding, including both emergency and recovery support, totaling $84,000 since March 23.

Response and recovery grants in the amount of $2,000 have been awarded to the following organizations:

United Day Care

Emergency response and recovery grants are funded through The Unrestricted Fund of The Community Foundation. The Community Foundation will continue to assess our community’s needs and respond appropriately.
