Gracie Evans is the recipient of the Michael Brodhead Scholarship, the Adam Cline Scholarship, and the Charles W. and Jane (Klipsch) Thomas Scholarship.
The Michael Brodhead Scholarship was established in memory of Michael Brodhead. It is awarded to a Delaware County college-bound senior who has overcome a physical disability while achieving a high level of academic success and participating in other activities outside the classroom.
The Adam Cline Scholarship is awarded to a Delaware County college-bound senior who has overcome a hardship in his or her life.
The Charles W. and Jane (Klipsch) Thomas Scholarship was created by Charles and Jane Thomas in 2010. The Thomas family, long-time supporters of education, created this scholarship to alleviate the costs of a college education and allow students who wish to learn to pursue their dreams. This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior from an accredited high school in Delaware County with at least a 3.0 grade point average. Consideration is given to academic ability, citizenship, community service, and extracurricular activities. This scholarship is designed for students who have gone “above and beyond” their academic studies outside the classroom.
Evans, a senior at Muncie Central High School, plans to attend Wellesley College. She is the daughter of Adam Evans and Chasity Evans.
