Upon graduating from Wright State University with his bachelors and masters degrees in English, Adam Cline taught online at Berkley University in California. Adam died from Muscular Dystrophy in 2009 at the age of 36. He lived life with compassion for others, enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a wonderful sense of humor. The Adam Cline Scholarship was created to benefit a special needs student who plans to attend college.
- The applicant must be a graduating senior from an accredited high school in Delaware County.
- The applicant must have overcome a hardship in his or her life, and preference will be given to those applicants who have overcome a physical disability.
- The applicant must be a solid student. The scholarship is designed to honor the achievements of those students who do not receive other major scholarship awards, and preference will be given to those students when selecting a recipient.
Applications for this scholarship will be open on January 1, 2021.
