The majority of the funds donated through sponsorships will pay for the $25,000 endowed grant give away.
At the celebration event on May 20th, the Foundation will present four endowment grants to local non-profit organizations worth $10,000, $7,500, $5,000 and $2,500 each. During the celebratory luncheon, area non-profits will engage in friendly competition for the grants, trying to get the most votes during the celebration in order to win the money.
Extra funds from the sponsorships will also offset the cost of the celebration.
