25th Anniversary Celebration

At the celebration luncheon on May 20, 2010, at the Horizon Convention Center, the Foundation originally planned to award $25,000 to four of the endowed agency funds. Due to the overwhelming sponsorship support from area businesses and individual donors, two additional surprise grants were given for a total of $28,000.....and the winners are:

A Better Way Services - $10,000

Motivate Our Minds - $7,500

Beyond I Can - $5,000

Youth Opportunity Center - $2,500

Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) - $1,500

Muncie Civic Theatre - $1,500

Information For Recipients

If you’ve been awarded a scholarship through The Community Foundation, you will receive a profile form to be completed and returned to our office. The form provides us with the information necessary to process your scholarship payment. It also helps us honor your accomplishments in our publications. Please mail your profile to the address below or e-mail the requested information to program officer, Suzanne Kadinger.

Once your form has been returned, your scholarship payment will be sent to your chosen college or university before the beginning of classes. In the case of McDonald’s scholarship recipients, your scholarship check will be mailed to your home address.

Please remember to keep us posted if you change schools or change addresses.
